I came up with my magazine topic after sitting through a semester and a half of history class, learning almost solely about how men have shaped America and the rest of the world. I realized many that women get little to no attention for the things they do for the world, so I decided I would write my magazine about some of the women that just don't get enough credit for how they have shaped today's world. This will feature not only women from the early stages of history, all the way through popular and influential women of today's media. My average reader would be a female in their mid teens or over. She cares a lot about important topics the world is dealing with. Not only does she care about how females are treated in today's society, she also wants everyone, no matter what gender, race, or sexuality to have equal opportunity in the world. My reader most likely has a distinct style and likes to express herself no matter what people tell her.
